The Pollution Control Association of the Philippines Region VII (PCAPI-7) in celebration of its 40th Anniversary, in cooperation with the PCAPI-7 Foundation Inc. and the support of Environmental Management Bureau of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Region VII (DENR-EMB7) will be launching the 1st PCAPI-7 and PCAPI-7 Foundation 7.5 ECO-MILE RUN with the theme “Run for River Rehabilitation (#3R to 3R)”.
This activity will be held on March 15, 2020 at 4:00 A.M (Sunday) at SM Covered Parking Area, North Reclamation Area, Cebu City. This exciting event will be an avenue to promote health and wellness while advocating for awareness and commitment to environmental preservation. The proceeds will be used for the construction of communal toilets along Butuanon River at Mandaue City.
The run will likewise kick off the week-long celebration of PCAPI-7’s 40th anniversary with the following are the registration fees: 1K – P350.00, 3K – P400.00, 6K – P450.00 and 12K – P500.00. The registration kit comes with a dri-fit shirt, a race bib, drawstring bag and the opportunity to be a part of this worthy cause.
Cash prizes and plaques will be given to the top 3 finishers of each category both for male and female runners while medals will also be given to the first 100 finishers for both the 6K and 12K runs.
Everyone is enjoined to bring their own refillable water containers for their hydration needs as single use water containers are not allowed.
