NKC Manufacturing Philippines Corp. conducted its annual tree-planting project in Barangay Adla-on, Cebu City on August 10, 2013 in its continuing support of the government’s National Greening Program.
The tree-planting was a joint project of NKC together with PCAPI-7, Cebu City Government, Nestle Philippines and farmer beneficiaries.
The activity was participated by more than 20 NKC management staff led by the firm’s president Junichi Ishida, assistant managers Engr. Emylou Cadalzo and Engr. Yolanda Lepatan, and Engr. Edmond Dantes Ouano, environmental officer.
Cebu City Councilor Nida Cabrera, committee chairman on environment, and Adla-on Barangay Captain Elvis Narra also participated in the planting of coffee tree seedlings.
